Bear Market · bear market

A period when prices are trending downward and declining.

A bear market is known for steadily falling prices, general pessimism, and capital fleeing the market; its name comes from the way a bear's claw swipes downward.

Many experienced investors see these periods as an opportunity to revisit their strategy, research stronger fundamental projects, and buy in gradually — not simply a period to avoid the market entirely.
