Seed Phrase · recovery phrase

A set of words used to recover access to a wallet; it should never be shared with anyone.

A seed phrase usually consists of 12 to 24 words generated when a wallet is created, and it's the only way to recover access to your assets if a device is lost or damaged.

Anyone who gains access to these words effectively takes full control of the asset; for this reason, storing it offline and securely, and never sharing it with any person or website, is a critical security rule.
